Journey to the Cross

A seed of faith was planted as my journey just begun.  Starting with my baby steps directed towards the Son.  Each day grew so much better, though trials were a part.  I grew closer to my Father, and learned more about His heart.  Transforming my life gently, I rested in His grace.  Trusting in His promises, I began to see His face.  My journey grew much sweeter, for his heart was now my own.  Living each day for my Father, until He calls me home.  There my journey will be complete, and my prize I will have won.  When He looks into my eyes to say, "Well done my faithful one!"  Deborah J.
